hello 2007

Farewell 2006...it was such a good year for me. I hope that 2007 will treat me well as well.

Sometime...a small little thing can mean a lot! I celebrated New Year with my hubby in Bangkok, Thailand with a low key time together since the situation in Bangkok is not that great. Instead of going out, we spent most of our time cooking and playing scrabble (two of our most favourite things to do). The best thing was a little french toast for breakfast Sung surprised me. There are so many delicious meals out there but I have to say, I am convinced that a homemade meal is the most wonderful.

Sawaddee kha! My name is Ngamprom Thaimee, better known to my friends as
Hong.

Food is my passion. I have been traveling the world searching for great food, good friends and meaningful inspiration. My journey began when I quit my corporate job earlier this year to pursue my dream of becoming a food writer. I am now writing my very first book featuring easy Thai recipes for friends and family. I call it “Thai Cooking for Your Loved Ones” and it is due out shortly!

Blogging is something new and yet familiar to me. New in the sense that I am now going to try writing posts rather than reading them. I have a lot to learn about writing and keeping my readers interested, but hopefully I will get help from my new online friends =)
